My mistake in this hand was, that I didn't use my reads. I put him on hand like AT, JJ-QQ and thought that I could push him off those, because he surely puts me on AA since this is the first time I'm 3betting and I showed strength all the way.

Villain called me with AsTs , lesson learned.

don't worry too much over the result...A10 is a terrible play by villain after a 3bet...while it's true this is one of the hands a turn bet would have folded him out, but too many worry hands...still take the free card in this case...

EDIT: i'm not sure from ur post, but he called ur turn bet with A10??...man, that is stubborn especially since it was ur first 3bet at the table...

Yes, he thought for a long time and called the turn push with AT.

Good reminder for me, that don't overtink and make fancy bluffs on Ongame network NL100 tables..

I'm not that afraid of the straights here. Only 99 makes sense here with straight.

Villain is 46/10/1.22. He's pretty weak player. Notes saying he's going too far with draws without odds and is passive.

I would think the second one makes the first one look wrong. Easy check, a nine is def a large part of his range and you would seem to indicate that hes calling stationy and wont fold most pieces anyways. Free card and stack him on a heart.

also, if he has a huge hand and wants to c/r us on the turn, taking a free card would allow us to see the river, if we don't hit, i'm happy to give him the pot and if we do hit, we stack him since he had a big hand...again, too many hands give us problems, so it's not worth trying to fold him out here...
