People with a shocking BO problem
Okay, i occasionally turn my puter off and play live.
Watching a sng, waiting for mine to fill up. Stinky (and i mean REAL fckn stinky) guy with bo tries to make friendly conversation with me. I just act disinterested, get myself a drink, and then fein disinterest in what he says. He gets the idea that im not a chatty type Hypothetical situation, which thankfully did not occur. I sit down, as does everyone else, one seat left next to me, and he sits down Wtf to do? ps, on a side note, i do not have bo, because i have a shower every single fortnight, whether i need it or not! lol |

Re: People with a shocking BO problem
Lately I have noticed many people with bo at the table. It is rather disgusting.
Amusingly, you said you shower "every fortnight" which I believe means every two weeks. I know what you meant, but in context of your OP, is funny. If this were actually true, it would explain your problem. I have a little bag I carry with me now to the B&M. A shoulder strap and small bag. In it, I have gum, cologne, hand cream, hand sanitizer, spare pair of glasses, snacks like pistachio nuts, peanuts, jolly rancher candies, other candy. Maybe I should put some air freshener. -J |

Yes, the every fortnight shower was a joke. Not a very funny one, but one nonetheless

Re: People with a shocking BO problem
At the local casino there was "Big" dealer who smelled terrible, sitting in the 1 or 9 seat was very unpleasant. I did not know what to do, so I did nothing.

Re: People with a shocking BO problem
Besides un-hygienic people in general there are b&m players who've been there for 24+ hrs and start to smell. Some have been drinking and that doesn't help. A seat or table change is the only thing you can do. After you get more 'live' experience you don't notice the smell anymore. Sort of like people who live in Niagra Falls can't hear the noise.
There was an Indian guy at Casino Arizona who everybody told to his face that his feet stank. He started coming in with lysol spray and kept spraying his feet. That was even worse so be careful what you wish for. |

Re: People with a shocking BO problem
Some people need to be educated about hygiene. It is your responsibility to explain to this person that in our culture it is customary that people shower at least every other day. Explain that he has clearly departed from this protocol and that showering and changing his clothes is an appropriate step to take NOW.
FYI, I understand that Annie Duke has a pretty bad stink problem, so stay away from her. |

Re: People with a shocking BO problem
you should stand up and politely ask the floor and ask if anything can be done, they need to make the decision if any so you must go through them and try to make it clear that you do not want to offend the other player.
