Why risk all his chips with this hand? Call, and if u hit either one without A on flop check and then reraise to villains bet. Go all in on turn if villain calls. No way I'm going all in preflop with this hand. The hands that will call u will probably crush u or coinflip.

[/ QUOTE ]
If you are going to call and fold if you miss the flop, better to just fold. The proper plays are to push preflop or checkraise allin on most flops. These are risky approaches, but you can't wait for the flop to hit you against an aggressive button raiser at this stage.

6000 to call a pot of 12500 that's 2:1 odds... Same odds as hitting K or Q on flop... That's not even counting in the implied odds if K or Q hits and the following check-raise... This is a call and check raise if hit situastion IMO

Maybe I am getting greedy, BUT for those of you who like a push, what's wrong with smooth calling and check raising all in on ANY flop.

If we take that line, I think he only calls us if he flops something like trips, two pair, or a monster draw. If he has A,K, AA, KK, QQ then sure we are going broke, but we would be going broke if he had those with a plain resteal.

What hands would he call us with if we check raised all in on any flop? Top pair no Kicker?? Middle pair Ace kicker?

I think this makes us the most chips and doesn't have a ton of risk because of the strength it shows.

If we flop two pair or the straight or anything like that of course I will slow play the flop instead of c/r all in.

Thoughts?

Cause you get called by a lot of hands that probably have you beat, better now to get it in when you are probably ahead or probably not very far behind.

Sure, it's a matter of style and what u feel comfortable with. I like making my decisions post flop against aggro players if i have pot odds to do so, but I agree that pushing preflop might be the best move for some players.

yeah so against a player on a wide range here who is a reasonable villain i would shove most of the time, sometimes folding.
