Absolutely not. That river was a disaster against a preflop capper because virtually every hand in his range now beats you.

I don't even think check/calling is good unless Villain is a certifiable preflop maniac. AK has a better two pair; TT, JJ, KK, and AA all have sets; QQ and AQ have a straight. Is Villain willing to raise/cap with KT UTG? I doubt it. It's tough to check/fold Aces up but I'm doing it here.

This hand looks really overplayed. What are you not telling us?

This guy lost a big pot to me earlier in which he capped with an A-6 suited, and it appeared he was still steaming a little.

What did you have in that hand and how did it play out?

If I think villain is fuming, I call preflop. ATo OOP isn't a fun situation against someone who is going to be aggro.

Postflop was just bad. Check call the flop and then probably donk/call the turn. If you get raised there, then check fold that river.

Your hand has strength, but but very little relative to what's likely of the opponents'.

I'd call Pf, C/C the flop, C/R the turn, and (since he capped it PF) fold the river.
Although perhaps a B/F flop, crying call on the river would be better Would depend more on particulars of the opponent I think, no?
Just about any and every hand he should cap with beats us on the river, including some that he shouldn't of capped with. (AA, KK, QQ, JJ, TT, AK, AQ, AJ, KQ,Qx, and their suited cousins).

Villain's play is a bit odd though in his raising and never capping postflop.

Grunched....from the top:

I call a raise PF - I wouldnt 3-bet in ANY position with A10o.

Flop - OK - but I may have check/called.
Turn - OK - but I may have check/raised here.
River - check/call.

Just call pf. Check/call the flop, check/raise the turn and call a three bet. Then check/fold the river UI

I guess with only three opponents, I'd have cold-called, but not raised.

That would make it six small bets on the flop. I might have check folded on the flop. Definitely would've folded if I'd bet and been raised. It seems to me from how he bet the hand that he had something like KQs, which he was beginning to think was a loser until the J hit. He's also betting like he's got a big pair and may have a set of Kings or pocket queens.

I'm counting 5.5 outs to improve and I don't think you're getting enough from the pot or implied odds to call here.

Caveat: this might be why I'm busto.
