why cant online games have an optional straddle?

i think this would be fun and different...is it because 100BB tables are not deep enough to support a straddle? would anyone else enjoy online tables were this was somehow optional...

The new full contact poker software has a straddle option...not sure if anyone plays there to use it against though.
