Default WSOP ME and the Internet Qualifiers

With the current US issues going on and the crackdown on the financial institutions what are peoples feelings on the Main Event now.

When the law passed it didnt seem like the effect on numbers would be that great but now that players are having issues getting money in and out of the US, will the sites be able to get their money to the third parties to pay the buy in to Harrahs, if so would the US authorities go after these third parties?

Default Re: WSOP ME and the Internet Qualifiers

There is a thread in Tournament Circuit where people are guessing the number of entrants this year.

I think i own the under, picking 1212. I wont be hugely shocked if it doesnt top 1000 entrants.

If you win a seat online you are given 10K in cash and expected to buy in yourself. Considering how many people in it are pure dead beat, dead broke and dead money i doubt they will be all turning up on the day and handing over 10k.

And all this is assuming you can get your 10K off the site...
