Scuba: If you think he's being reckless, I vote for pushing. Hands like A2-8 and any pair will probably be part of what he's raising and he may call these. He might also fold hands you don't want him calling with like QJ.

Beenz: Where in BG/how old?

I don't like repushing because he raised utg, until he i see it consistenetly i assume he's not raising utg with a huge range. You've committed nothing to the pot and I don't see why you should risk your stack in such a marginal spot with 20bbs.

Hmm, I wasn't sure at first, but after reading the replys folding seems right... but I think pushing is definetley not a horrid play.. folding is just slightly better. I would prolly push this if I was BB and there were no more people behind me and just to show him not to raise my blind.

[/ QUOTE ]

That's a really stupid reason to push into someone who is like 5 seats to your right at level 3 of a $55.

[/ QUOTE ]

Really? You must not have played much poker, then.

Alright, this is the last time I dignify your comments with a respons:

You are going to have a really tough time learning on here with the attitude you have. Since you have a lot of learning to do this will be quite detrimental to your results. So relax, listen to people who are trying to help you out, and try and remember why you're here... to learn.

See, that's exactly the hand I'm referring to. Are hands like QJ, KQ, TJs getting folded here often enough?

Ouch, baby. Ouch.

bigt, i actually don't have a problem with anyone else but you. the way you conduct yourself toward others is pretty disgraceful imo. brush up on your people skills, son.

i can take critism, and i admit i am wrong alot of the times, so sue me. but the way you give feedback isn't helping anyone. and why is it a stupid reason to raise someone in order to slow them down especially when they are going after you? i didn't say that was the main reason i would push that 88 in the BB, but it was just another incentive for me to lean toward pushing rather than folding. if you are willing to push 88 with 3 more players to act, you should be willing to push when there are no more players to act, no?

I think his point was that if you're in the BB this hand and the guy raised UTG, it's unlikely that he's going after your blind. In addition, he's so far to your right he's probably not going to steal your blind in the future...you'd be more concerned about that if he was one or two spots to your right. "Defending" here wouldn't help you out much later in the game.
