This might be true in NL, I seriously doubt it in limit.

Whoops, I posted this then went out of town to Tunica with limited net access.

Straddling OTB in a 3-handed game was generally accepted as advantageous I'd thought. At any rate, he's my reasoning behind it: 1) You act last in all rounds. 2) You get more money in the pot when you have said positional advantage.

I've had tremendous success doing this - when I get a chance to. Most rooms I've played at now don't allow it.

However, I managed to play this way twice in Tunica at the Goldstrike even though it's against the rooms rules. But the dealer and floor let it ride since I got the other two to agree.
