No joke, now I am trying to get rid of various trojans that AVG keeps detecting. The 1st one popped up the instant I clicked on the link.

Anyone have advice on the best way to get rid of them on XP?

I already scanned with AVG, with Adaware and CCleaner but the trojan is still popping up according to avg.

hmm i clicked it and the picture he posted came right up and havent gotten any warnings or anything from my antivirus stuff using netscape

Ok, everytime I log onto windows, this is what I get:

I press heal but then the next time I log in, it pops up again.

Need some help, not sure what to do.

reboot into safe mode (press f8 before the windows xp logo shows up)

then have AVG heal it

then download firefox and never use IE again

Firefox for teh win. I cringe when I have to use IE for one reason or another. I was reluctant to move to fox, but once I did..... omg.

If anyone out there is still using IE... please stop. just stop.

I was using firefox when I clicked the link. I saw the 50% text, and left the window up for a long ass time. I don't appear to be having any problems.

When I boot in safe mode, the mzz.exe file is nowhere to be found.

I even tried safe mode w/ networking but still that file wasn't coming up.

Then I tried logging in normally and that exe file was there again.
