Default $15+1 To early to shove or no ?

Poker Stars
No Limit Holdem Tournament
Blinds: t100/t200
(Ante: t25)
4 players

Stack sizes:
Hero: t3745
Button: t2150
SB: t4850
BB: t2755

Pre-flop: (4 players) Hero is UTG with A[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] J[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]
Hero raises all-in t3720,

Is this shove OK with 19 BB's left ? All the other players are tight and seem to have a good grasp of ICM ( as far as I can be the judge of that

I prefer a normal raise here (t500), probably folding to a push from the SB (yes, I know he can exploit me here).

i'm not sure i understand the shove. i think raise to 500 and go from there. if everyone else is tight you're likely to pick it up anyway.

Since they have high calling ranges, a push is an invitation to get busted out right ?

I think my problem lately is actually pushing to much.

Dont shove 20ish BBs like that. Raise to 500ish instead. If you are the chip leader it might be OK

Because you have more fold equity then?

Have the same problem as you (pushing to much). Like previous speakers, I think a smaller raise here is the right choice. Then you can fold to a large reraise.

Just another question - you're four handed and have AJ, do you really want them all to fold? A normal raise might get called, but you still have a pretty strong hand and lots of chips relative to the blinds with only four people left. Why not see a flop?

With AJ i want them to fold. No hand that calls us here, makes fun to play against.
