Has enough potential to my eye.

did they really say that his disconnection with the nuts was a year ago?

[/ QUOTE ]

Actually they said there were 5 hands where he was disconnected in the past month, one of which had him holding the nuts.

Here are the the current facts:
1) Seems pretty obvious this is intentional
2) I've paid $5200 in rake in January.
3) They won't refund me the measly $250
4) Online poker could be falling apart and I'm whining over a measly 4BB pot.

Thanks for the link...I think. The larger it gets the uglier it is

I'm glad you brought it up. I hadn't seen the Darth Sam image before. I'm going to have trouble sleeping tonight.

#1 - No. It's far from obvious. It's POSSIBLE he disconnected intentionally.

#2 - What difference does that make?

um, this really isn't that blatant a disconnect.

OK Teddy. I know it's a small pot and not that big a deal one way or another.
I trust your judgment and will drop it.
BTW, I think I read some of your blog for the first time last night. I really enjoyed your top ten posts... especially the one about P.O.C. The more time and energy I waste whining about this issue the more that post hits home.
(But I still clip coupons to save $5 on groceries).

What money would they actually be refunding since you won the pot?

Are you saying that they should have given you $60 from his account because he might have called the turn and folded the river?

Stars support is generally amazing so I would give them the benefit of the doubt here, especially since you did not actually lose anything

I'm the loser (the NIT). But I think he probably honestly disconnected since Bob and Teddy have calibrated me. I give up.

Yeah, I don't see where they can give him much 'refund' here except maybe a $20 finders-fee for identifying an discon-abuser.

You have notified Stars of this semi-suspicious hand.
If he does it again then they will have that previous report under his name to look at.

All they can do is see whether he has a history of doing it in the past.
Even if it comes at the most obvious of advantageous times it could STILL just be an actual connection issue.
