NFL forceout rule, how ghey?
To me, one of the worst rules in all of sports. Why not "both feet in or no catch, period?" There's no need to take a clear cut rule and then throw in all kinds of ambiguity.

exactly....I always liked the college rule here because it's clear cut and leaves less to official interpretation.

The other side, as CP said, is quite apparent. You'd have to jump catch balls about 5 yards from the line otherwise the DB would just catch you and run you out of bounds.
