how to cash out from wsex ?

How are you guys making your withdrawals from wsex?

btw... i just wanted to thank everybody for all the info and support. on another note, this bs has driven me to start smoking again... feelin' the stress, but trying to stay positive and hopeful.

Just off the phone with WSEX, the only way to cashout is by paper check and expect to wait up to three weeks. They like Pokerstars are totally unconscious. Too much of that Carribean dope, No problem mon!

I think you can pay $30 extra to get it FedEx in 2-3 business days. I would recommend doing that. The vast majority of my roll is on WPEX and most of it is probably coming out tomorrow after I get the rakeback. I hate to do it, but times are just too dangerous right now.

Has anyone ever had experience with paper checks from WPEX? Any issues/problems, etc?

I have a decent amount on PEX (not a big portion of my roll b/c I play mostly live, but not a nothing amount either). Why the rush to pull out from there? If anyone will get you your money, it's them IMO. Why would their checks be no good a month from now? They can just switch banks. I think it will be a much bigger pain to get it in later, which makes it inconvenient to WD now. Or is there something I don't know?

I'm not cashing-out from WPEX because I might want to play there later and it's way more difficult to deposit now.

If you are cashing-out because you are giving up and plan on never playing again then that's fine. But I still don't think there's a big rush to do it or anything.

If you are doing it because you are all panicky about being able to get your funds later after the Fed-Gov stomrs their offices and arrests everyone then I'm just not understanding how you can be that paranoid.

The only thing that worries me is the checks being no good at some point. If the checks stay good, then I'll feel better about leaving more cash in there.

Mav - Did you get your check via FedEx or snail mail? Do keep us updated when you get it and deposit it. Thanks.

Bob - I guess I'm getting that paranoid becuase nothing would really surprise me now. I'm just struggling with how much to leave on there. I might leave only 1K and just go back to grinding 1/2 and 2/4.

If the checks suddenly are no good at some point then you tell them and work with them to get your funds SOMEHOW.

On crappy sites with crappy service I wouldn't trust them to bend over backwards to get my funds to me in the event of problems.

But with sites like Stars and WPEX I trust that I'll get the money eventually even if they somehow do run into obstacles with checks.

FT and Bodog I'm less sold on because of recent cust-service issues with them. But I would be pretty sure that if they sent you a check that wouldn't cash they would try again and/or find a way to make it okay.

This would obviously be extremely annoying and take way more time than it should to get your money.

But I'm not really worried about them sending a check that doesn't work and then saying, "Too bad. You lose."

Most of my money is on Stars which is where I play the most and also where I'm the most comfortable keeping my money.

I deposited the rest of my small neteller balance into Stars before Neteller took the action against the U.S. custopmers and am glad I did and am not left chasing my $800 around.

I have a little bit on WPEX. I'm mostly sports-betting there though.
And still have some on FT from an old RB payment.
I have no money on Bodog but wasn't playing there anyway.

I do in-game trading between Wsex and TS.... cash about 100 checks from them before tabke about 2.5 - 3 weeks but so far. it's good.
Just don't know for how long though. [img]/images/graemlins/confused.gif[/img]
