NL600@FTP, inducing a bluff but...

Villain just doubled me up with his AJ vs mine AQ, got it in on the turn, we both had hit the ace and I hade a flushdraw. He played stupidly and I got rewarded. No other reads on villain.

Anyways, I check the river to induce a bluff.

What hands do you put him on that doesnt raise flop/turn. All I can think of is a draw or MAYBE AQ. But would AQ really bet that hard on the river?

Yes pre-flop is not a good call, I actually called by mistake. But lets focus on the flop an forth.

That the reason why you checked is to have him bluff,cant fold now.
If he has me beat, than oh well.

Too bad you cant raise the river. A lot of small suited connectors in clubs got there in the river and can also call your big turn bet, and a lot of flush draws missed. Guess you have to muck because he is very often valuebetting here.

yeah thats was I was thinking 2, and called. he flipped up 87 for a str8... still wonder if I could get away from it.
