Default ($60) - AQ, too weak?

Ok, my riverline seems pretty awful but my 20 buy-in downswing has made me weaker than ever. If there would be an undo-button at pokerstars I would probably valuebet the river for like ~300.

Any thoughts?

There are several ways to play this hand and this is one of them.

If he's good enough to be able to float you on the flop, there's a very good chance he'll bet the river so I like a check there. Also, you could be beat - I think the river as played is definitely a check.

You can also bet the turn... if you do, you're obviously going with the hand.

Any read on villain? If he's loose passive, I sure like a value bet on the turn (even though he could be sitting on QJ or a couple of diamonds) because you're still beating a lot of hands. You also don't want to give a free shot at the 4 card flush IMO. If you follow through on the turn and get called, I don't really mind that river check.

You need to bet the turn or the river.

i agree with the point of the flop float or being beaten and that said once you turn check id also often check with the intention of calling on the river

personally though id usually bet this turn and go with the hand from there.
