($60) - AQ, too weak?
Ok, my riverline seems pretty awful but my 20 buy-in downswing has made me weaker than ever. If there would be an undo-button at pokerstars I would probably valuebet the river for like ~300.
Any thoughts? Re: ($60) - AQ, too weak?
There are several ways to play this hand and this is one of them.
If he's good enough to be able to float you on the flop, there's a very good chance he'll bet the river so I like a check there. Also, you could be beat - I think the river as played is definitely a check. You can also bet the turn... if you do, you're obviously going with the hand. Ryan |

Re: ($60) - AQ, too weak?
Any read on villain? If he's loose passive, I sure like a value bet on the turn (even though he could be sitting on QJ or a couple of diamonds) because you're still beating a lot of hands. You also don't want to give a free shot at the 4 card flush IMO. If you follow through on the turn and get called, I don't really mind that river check.

You need to bet the turn or the river.
