eh, many of them are. but guys like Jaws know a ton. in fact most of the ex NFL QB'a have a far greater understanding of the game than any of us.

Every year for 3 years running, my mom has a higher winning% in her NFL pool(straight up picks, every game) than any of the ESPN "experts".

Her strategy is simple(I devised it): Pick the favorite for every game. She also always picks the Chargers even if they're dogs.

but it's not necessarily a predicator of future success

[/ QUOTE ]

Belichecks teams have consistently ranked better in Points Allowed than Yards Allowed. my guess is that they have always performed 'better' in the Red Zone than they 'should' have according to dvoa. but this is over many seasons...so I'm not so sure about the fact that it cant be used to predict the future.

This is, in all likelihood, because they don't often turn the ball over or give up the ball deep in their own territory. So teams have a while to go to score.

This game is gonna be great, but not as good as this year's AFC title game.

Rexy better bring the sexy.

I don't see either team running away with this, it will probably come down to a field goal like last week.

Fink/mmb,

I got bored and it looks like the avg GB attempt against was ~35.5 yds and NE's was 37.2 yds.
