I only had like 50 hands with this guy so my read was shaky, but in that time it seemed like he was opening a lot of pots, and was playing a little bit loose postflop. I have about $790 left on the river. Push, check/call, or check/fold?

Ehm I'd probably just say F it and put the rest in on the river. If he called me with a draw then so be it.

C/f

That 9[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] is the worst card in the deck.

He either just got there, or he can't call, because the worst card in the deck just hit.

Furthermore, he can't really have a hand that can bluff you here, unless he has exactly 4x[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] or AQ[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], which aren't exactly likely. He would usually raise the flop, and almost definitely shove the turn, with a set or two pair, which are just about the only hands you beat that might call, and I can't see him value betting a hand worse than that.
