Default AQ unimproved, too aggressive?

hi,

button here is well known too me. 16/10/1.4, 2400 hands, TAG, not especially creative.

do you slow down somewhere in the hand?

uh... You are almost never getting called by a worse hand on the river unless you have the most LAG image ever.

I'd give up on the river. turn bet is good. (16/10/1.4 is TP imo)

I check/call the river. He probably has you tied with another A, but will never fold a pair (he would be more aggro with a PP, so I think he has A high and is calling you down.)

I would be afraid of getting bluff-raised off my hand.

He will not ever pay you off. The river bet is pointless.

u ll get called by a worse ace pretty often

If he's a tag and he knows you are taggish I can see him calling down with A-high. Its a blind steal situation and given your possible range, his possible range, that craptacular board, and the fact he never raised you I think you are good here. He could have aj-a8 a fair amount of the time.

I like the line.

river bet is fairly useless unless your viewed or are a maniac ITB

however you could of checked the flop and if checked back to bet the turn. or if bet into call and check raise the turn.
