200NL, straigy on paired board
200NL Cryptologic, 4 handed, effective stacks 188.
Villain is a TAG, I havent got a great read on him but he seems competent. Villain opens in CO for $7, I make a questinable call on the button with T [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]J [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] and the blinds fold. The flop ($17) is K [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 9 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 9 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] He checks, I bet $12, he calls Turn ($41) Q [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] He bets $10, I raise to $50, he makes it $90 and has $80 left. Do you push? |

Re: 200NL, straigy on paired board
You have put yourself in a tough spot by raising the turn. From his action he has KK,QQ,99 here too often for you to proceed. In fact i can't come up with a hand that would reraise your turn bet that you can beat. I fold here.
With position in this pot i dont mind calling the turn and then calling a reasonable bet on the river. It will likely cost you less than the 50 you have just put in ther and you will get to see his boat. |

Re: 200NL, straigy on paired board
Easy push. He could think you are trying to steal from his weak turn bet. 4 handed he could do this with AA or AK. He could also have A9. I think he'll stuggle to fold AA or A9 and probably AK for $80 more in a $300 pot.
