Default Hmm what u think, easy push 3$ r stars?

For some reason I am good at running into good hands. Lately Im going decent amount of time ITM and a bit further but when it comes to getting real deep I always run into some trouble. I we been thinking about it and mabye I am not good enough to spot situations where I should fold.

But I think this is a easy push but the worrying thing that i didnt really think about when this hand was played is that he is Insta calling 5BB I just looked down at my hand and was happy about the action.

Whats your take? Easy push?

I have a pretty decent stack quite a bit over the average I think the average was about 55-60k at the point does that make any difference pushing this hand? There were about 200 Left in the tournament at this stage.

Easy push for me, shorty moves in so your well ahead of his range and then the button flat calls. My take on the button is that he has a hand a decent but not amazing hand to take the shorty on with (I'd assume he'd move in to try to protect with 99+)and then cant fold to a repush because of the potsize. So I'd expect to be ahead of him too.

Anyway I'm playing the hand the same as you. I take it someone had a bigger hand from your post but I dont think that can be helped here tbh.

button call could be a monster, or it could be a donk play.

either way this is the easiest push ever

Your going to get everyone telling you this is an easy push because if you win this hand you are no longer looking for ways to get to the final table, you just found it. If Button folds you add almost 50% to your stack. If he calls and you win your a monster stack. Don't pass on these opportunites.

Note: Winning this is a long way from a final table stack in the stars $3R.

Given tournament spot, etc, I think this push is just fine. I generally would think that villain caller (button) would actually have a hand worth racing a shorty push with (and shorty has a big range in a vacuum) rather than this symbolizing a big hand.

If the button was willing to go all-in by calling your raise pre-flop, why would he just call the short stack's all-in? Why not just move all-in himself before you act?

I probably would have raised all in as well. If you are on some sort of money bubble, then call and check it down.
