I kind of doubt it. Most likely they'll start with baby steps and end up with DogTrack poker like in New Hampshire. Low limit and high rakes. How about the poker cruises off of Myrtle Beach? The fixed time limit really doesn't appeal to me but you seem like you really want to find something local.

You could move. I don't live in NC, but I've certainly been considering it (even before the ban really as I prefer live play).

i live in raleigh, and PKR runs in Cary. It is pretty professionally run in an office complex in cary. tourny schedule and sometimes 2 cash games running. they usually spread 1/2 nl and sometimes 2/4 nl
