We do touch on a number of HU concepts as they relate to play in shorthanded games but at this point tackling HU itself will have to wait.

Stox,

I assume that, being across the pond, it would be cheaper/easier for me to just buy the book off Amazon UK or other UK sellers, as opposed to pre-ordering through your site, no?

this may possibly be true, I am not sure about how we will handle oversees shipping but i suggest you simply give us your email address so you will be informed of information when we send out emails. At this point all our we are taking is email address as a sort of indication of interest list.

100% Limit holdem. Focuses a bit on shorthanded and higher limits but you can judge for yourself by looking at the table of contents linked at the start of the thread if you are so inclined.

"Chapter 2. Why This Book"

Outstanding.

[/ QUOTE ]

Considering the number of people on this forum who try to apply books to forms of poker they are not written for this chapter should be considered vital.

The book is aimed at ALL skill levels. The book is written ABOUT higher stakes (5-10 up to 1k/2k, wide range I know) games and hands.

Stox,

By the looks of the table of contents, I'm sure your book will take pride of place on my poker shelf amongst my other 2+2 titles.

Even though I expect to see some hotly debated posts with your book's name in the title in the future, I fear that the most interesting parts of your book will end up on the editing room floor. I'd love to see a 'deleted scenes' chapter some time in the future.

Best of luck with the sales.

Cheers,
Alex

Mixed feelings.

1) Im a greedy bastard. I have grinded on these forums to get my knowdlege on shorthanded play, and am uncomfortable with the concept that good ring players will be able to jump over to shorthanded very quick with this book. Also, lower limit players could use this book to transist to the higher limits and crowd the games with even more multi tabling tags. The games have gotten tougher and tougher as it is, not many fish are coming in.. I fear it drying up in a couple years and this book only accelerating the process.

2) If it wasnt for 2+2 books in the first place I'd still be a fish, so im also a hypocrite. In 1.5 years and a LOT of study, im already crushing the lower middle limits at NL and FL shorthanded.

3) As a student of the game, im hungry for any knowledge, and Im expecting nothing less than an eye opener.

How much would I have to pay to purchase every copy of this book?
