ROTFL about support coming in and wishing Nate good luck.

I'm sweating but can't chat (Stars chat is BUSTO for me). Good luck though!

Nate can we get a rough idea of how many hours or hands you played in the past week?

Besides posting here have you documented this at all, I think it would be a good lesson in bankroll building for people with limited $'s, obviously over a much longer time but doing similiar things.

Well, yesterday I discovered that I am unlikely to be accepted into Notre Dame's MA program in philosophy, because it doesn't exist. I could have sworn I read about it, and that their online form let me choose "Philosophy MA," but whatever. At least I got a hilarious email out of it, and it's being treated as a Ph.D. application.

Unrelated to the poker, but you can probably apply to the Ph.D. program and then bail along the way with an M.A. This is what I did (at Iowa). You might even decide to stick it out. An M.A. in philosophy is, shockingly enough, not of great utility.

I was a math major and have been advised that I am unlikely to be admitted at a good Ph.D. program immediately.

It's been roughly 60 hours so far. Mostly 8-tabling except when I was grinding HU matches.
