Kicked off FTP mid bet to install software?

while playing some amazing micro NL on ftp i got dealt pkt jacks. clearly i raised it up and got one caller. the board was 885 and the turn a third 8 so 8885. i attempted to put my villian AI for his last 1.5 and FTP froze and closed. i reloaded FTP and was asked to downlaod some software. this goes well and i get my tables back but my bet had never gone thru and i was check folded. this is a small amount of money but i hate losing monies this way. i emailed them.... has this happend to anyone else? oh and i dont know the hand number b/c FTP closed and the hand history reset.

they'll give you a run-around and tell you that they've checked but your funds are unretrievable.
