Standard river raise?
sb notes:
cc AJo OTB, raised kk8 flop, b/3b J turn, checked behind river called 3 bets in sb w/ 89, also OL in MP w/ 33. He plays bad, but seems to be at a couple of my tables. 5/10, 4 handed. He opens, i 3ball ATo, he calls. QQT. check, I bet, he calls. 7. check, I bet, he calls. 7. He bets, i raise, if he 3 bets, fold to akward 3 ball? River raise good, right? |

Re: Standard river raise?
Yeah probably against this guy, but it doesn't sound like I'd fold. So maybe I wouldn't raise. There's not much reason he can't have a seven, but he's also probably dumb enough to bet/call an ace here. Could also be bet/folding with 66 or below. Basically, I don't know, and I would raise or call at random.

Re: Standard river raise?
What is this raise accomplishing?
Are you folding out a better hand? no Are you getting a worse hand to call? no just my opinion, but I'd be interested to hear why you decided a raise was a good idea there. |

Re: Standard river raise?
I think raise/folding to the 3 bet is an acceptable river line, but I don't like it. I'd much rather just call down again this 'tard.
