This was posted in laughs and links. While I think it's ludicrous that this city gets shutdown when it snows an inch, I must admit it's been pretty nasty out there, and still is. And when people only "get" a chance to drive in it once every 3 years, it makes it a little more nasty.

Chains are illegal where I live (tear up the road). Snow tires help, but I have still done some pretty good slides with them on.

I think on Tuesday (after the "storm"), chains or studs were actually REQUIRED here.

They are often required to go over the pass here; but neither is illegal normally.

I drive better in the snow with my Acura Integra with front wheel drive and bald tires than 90%+ of the people around here drive with their giant SUVs and other 4WD. A perk of living in Colorado my whole life I guess.
