lol what a godawful bet. 8:1 that he WINS with like 2-300 still in the tournament? why do people insist on giving away money to people other than me?

edit: actually at 20:3 closer to 7:1. jfc. he basically like just handed allen $2900 sklansky dollars. i also like how ac was still fighting to keep it at 5:1 despite obviously knowing the guy was giving him an amazing deal. cant give nothing up!

According to pokerwire Antonius was down to 2.3k in chips today and is now (after about 75 minutes) back to 170k. No matter if this was a good bet for either Allen or traheho, it sure is exciting.

the funny thing about this bet is that allen accepted 12:2 but not 20:3. if he took 20:3 over 12:2 he would essentially be taking a 12:2 bet along with an 8:1 bet.

there are 747 players to start so with 20k stacks there are 14940000 chips in play. antonius doesnt even have 1/47th of the chips in play.

i would gladly take 20:3 over 12:2. silly allen.

edit: didnt see klanders post. nh

I'm not a math expert, but I think this bet is at 5:1 not 12:2.

He ships Allen $2k, Allen ships him $12k if he wins. Player wins $10k or loses $2k.
I think Allen understands this but it sounds like the other guy didn't really catch on...

correct. allen offered 12 FOR 2 which is 5-1.

According the unreliable, poorly updated CP tourney log, he's still in it out of 14 remaining players.
