Re: Lost in a 3-bet AK hand..
I think you are checking too many turns. Leading really makes things more straightforwatd.

I don't know about felting it on that board.
Fold on river as it seems he's milking you is okay. |

Re: Lost in a 3-bet AK hand..
can we check the turn? i think at this point we have gottan all the value from worse hands we could and now we are hoping his has specifically kk or qq or a low flush draw.
i check the turn or the flop one of the two. Im not sure whats best here but i think making that hand easier to play is bad thinking. my bottom line is that i either want to get to showdown and win a smallto mediumish pot. or i want to felt it (completly villian dependant) |

Re: Lost in a 3-bet AK hand..
I like a check on the flop. You're SB not the Button you aren't getting loose calls here.
As played you're getting 4.6 to 1 on the turn. Are you willing to reraise if the K of hearts comes down on the river? How about the queen of hearts? Your chances of coming ahead here are 15% to 9% based on his holdings. If you aren't willing to get rowdy when that happens fold the turn because the odds aren't there. |
