What can i beat that calls the flop, doesn't push to the checkraise on the turn and doesn't JUST flat call the river? ps. the turn check was a misclick. i hardly ever checkraise...but since i did....

Jam the pot. He had a set I guess?

Why jam the pot? Hence the question. Doesn't really matter what he had. Are the two possible straights that got completed on the turn/river insignificant?

Because 80-90% of the time your hand is good.

Why such a weak river bet?

Depending on the villian:
34s, A3, A4 seem to be the mostly likely hands we beat that he pushes with (if he would push with them even)

I forgot to read the river action...The problem with that small river bet is it induces a lot so if you are going to make it you have to be prepared to call an all in with it.

it's not past him to float flops and there are so many two pair combinations you beat... add in AJ/AT type hands...

but...the amount that he pushed into the pot is significant and i'm not sure you're going to be right in calling given the odds. I think I would still call here though

also -it's kind of minor but in unraised pots i like to bet pot or a dollar more.. it bloats it a little more for the turn, where you can pot it again.

last thing, just caught it... $10 on the river is kinda bad... if you choose to b/f here, $17-22 is much better. that $10 screams weakness and then you're not sure if he's playing you or his hand at that point

Our weak river bet obligates us to call. We asked for a bluff and we got it.

Based on turn action would checking the river have been best or should we have bet 1/2-2/3 a pot?
