Default AQs flush draw, turned Ace facing serious heat

villain (SB) is a regular, good LAG running about 32/23/3 over 2k hands, button is kinda donkish at 42/14/2 not much history with either. i am viewed as a solid TAG, running about 21/16/3 at this table over 150 hands.

should i do anything different in this hand?

Push the flop.

Turn is fine as played.

What is your reasoning for pushing flop? He just c/r into two players oop. That makes me very leary of pushing when I could easily only have 8 clean outs. Or am I giving him too much credit?

Pushing the flop will only get called by hands that you only have nine outs to beat. I'm not sure what the overbet means. Coming from a LAG it could mean a semi bluff or a good hand he wants to get paid off on because he's a LAG he knows he will. I think I probably play it the same. I don't like pushing the flop. Seeing a turn card makes the turn play IP a lot easier. If he's a decent LAG he'll give up if he's on air. Obviously that A didn't scare him though so I think I fold that turn.

agreed with just about everything. he is only calling a push on flop w/ sets, top 2, and huge draws. but if he is a decent lag won't he continue w/ a bluff or a semi-bluff? especially since the Ace hit and that would be a scare card for JJ-KK. my thinking is: the pot has gotten pretty big now and if he is on big draw he believes he still has outs even if he has to call an ai.

I'm curious about the thought process for pushing the flop too. Someone care to elaborate?

If you're not willing to push this flop I don't think you should be cbetting here.
