Default Free food

OK, you get free drinks in LV casinos. Is free food only for the high limit tables everywhere, or does it vary from casino to casino? I love the idea of getting comped for a big meal and eating it while I play.

Some vegas card rooms will issue a $5.00 dining comp after 4 hours of play.

Poker players are not treated like high rollers. If ya wanna be treated like a balla, take your $100K roll out to the table games.

Most Vegas rooms will cough up about $1/hr in comps. Caesars, Harrahs, and Palms offer table-side service. You can order at the table and be served at the table. Don't expect gourmet faire from Caesars or Harrahs. At Palms you can get better eats.

Venetian will do $1 an hour, good at the Grand Lux, which is their coffee shop type place. It's high end for a coffee shop though, and ten bucks doesn't go very far.

If you play downtown, you can get a $10 lunch ticket at Binion's or the Nugget after about 4 hrs of play at the 4/8 table. I wouldn't really recommend eating at Binion's though. Of course, my experience is from nearly a year ago before the Nugget redid their room. YMMV.

Good as in unpalatable overcooked crap with old mashed potatoes stuck to your seat and the stench of sewer water permeating the air, then yea, Binion's is goot!

I would have to disagree with Bav. I think the eats at Caesars are very good. The wings are fantastic (and not messy), and the prime rib dip is the NUTZ!

I have had almost everything on the menu and it is all very good!

What does the Palms have? Havent played there in a long time.

I loath the food service at Caesars. It's barely a step up from Luxor or Tropicana.

In fact, I'd say that the following venues are really terrible food wise:

BAD VEGAS STRIP FOOD in no particular order:

Luxor
Harrahs
Flamingo
Excalibur
Caesars
Tropicana
Venetian
NYNY
Bally's
Frontier
Skankosphere
Riviera
Circus Circus (it's not even dog food quality)

SO - SO Food:

Paris
MGM
TI
Mirage

Good food:

Belagio
The Wynn
Mandalay Bay
