Default rules ???

I was playing and I have heard and/or read somewhere that basically after the hand is over that if the winnner of the pot, contested or uncontested that basically once they show one card, if requested by someone at the table they have to show the other card. Could someone please let me know the ruling on this one.

Default Re: rules ???

Contested: Standard rule is you must show a complete hand (2 cards in Holdem, 4 in Omaha, etc) to be awarded the pot, period. Showing just an Ace with a board of AAA94 is not enough if the pot is contested.

Uncontested: Some casinos say that if you reveal one card to your opponent, you must show the other, to avoid "taunting". Not universal.
