My guess would be that it's moved to the archive.

IMO another argument for a community-maintained FAQ, but that's just my windmill to tilt at.

Wow, that's wierd.

I believe the only way to keep a locked post out of the archive sweep is to sticky it. I may be wrong, Mat or Ryan would know.

Edit: I'd argue that this is an argument for better forum software instead.
