Default Re: Best way to withdraw to avoid taxes?

hey tony,
I know how you feel... I withdrew 60 000$ US a few months ago but didnt have to pay taxes... because i am canadian

but the best way to take out your money since it is only 20 thousand is to take it out in small amounts. I'm not sure how they do it over there in the states but I know here in Canada if it is under 5K they dont really question you. So just make 5 4K deposits. should work out for you

Looks like Neteller ATM is the only practical way of doing this......

Yes, because there would be absolutely no record, or any way to trace, transactions across an electronic financial network that all the banks in the country use.

I consider the Neteller debit card to be the '00's version of the "Zima doesn't show up on breathalyzers" myth.

I've heard in threads like these before that Neteller ATM does not work for this.

You want to renounce your American citizenship? Good, go ahead and do it.

When youre travelling and get kidnapped or arrested for some trumped up BS by some rogue government or corrupt police, dont come crying to the US to bail you out. Have fun sitting in a prison that isnt fit for dogs for the next 15 years for some stupid crime like singing after dark on Tuesday, or for looking at the police chiefs daughter.

Tax evasion is a serious offense, and I don't think anyone who suggests it, offers a method to do it or inquires about how to do it is being very responsible.

There is one legal way to reduce taxes that immediately comes to mind, though. I'm pretty sure you can write-off any gambling losses from the past two years against any gambling profit. I'm not sure about the exact details - the link above is a good start - but I'm certain that you can do it. All donations to poker sites over the last two years, for example, would be prime candidates.
