Re: 20+2 SB with Jacks facing a raise--
With the chip lead and the small stack close to being blinded out?
Do I really want to risk moneying on a potential coin flip? |

Re: 20+2 SB with Jacks facing a raise--
The short stack is not short enough, with 8.5 BBs its no place to be waiting arround for him to bust. Being the big stack makes it easier to push here because the others are able to bust out while you would just be crippled POOSH

Re: 20+2 SB with Jacks facing a raise--
Maybe I am being results oriented-- but I pushed and got sucked out on the river by AK.
I wished I had just smooth called and then pushed on a flop with no overcards. Why would that line be wrong? |

if he had AK, there was no suckout. It's 50/50

Re: 20+2 SB with Jacks facing a raise--
What are the chances he'll have AK. Then what are the chances he'll win(45%). So your equity in that push is BIIIIG. If you raised he would have just reraised (probably) and you'd have the same result. If he just called your raise and no Aor K came you might be able to take down the pot, but even then maybe not. And then you won't make many chips.
