Re: Lot of Heat with TPTK vs Solid Regular
nevermind your stack is less than half the pot on river call if you called turn....the more i look at it the less i like the turn call after the check

Re: Lot of Heat with TPTK vs Solid Regular
I would be shocked if you didn't get stacked here. Turn call is very marginal IMO. River is an easy fold. He opened UTG, called a rr, and called your flop bet, what is his range?

Against a good, tough player you should check this flop alot.

Re: Lot of Heat with TPTK vs Solid Regular
He's got AA or KK most of the time here.

Re: Lot of Heat with TPTK vs Solid Regular
LIke I said before I feel like he'd raise AA on the flop, KK might not. FWIW this guy had been opening a lot of pots and we'd been three-etting edach other a lot.
Like others have said this is a very drawy so I don't think he'd slowplay a set of T's or Q's and I think he'd have to raise AA as well. THus his call on the flop confused me a bit. Perhaps it was something in the timing of his bets but I just didn't sense he was veyr strong so I called the turn. On the river I wasn't sure but again the timing of his push seemed strange and I was getting pretty good odds on the river to call so I did. He showed 8d7d and MHIG. I wasn't sure if my call down was good or not though. Any final thoughts? |
