Casino Niagara tonight
1/2 100 NL I have 398 Villain has ~330 Villain is loose passive monkey as is norm for this game but not quite as bad as the rest of the table I have a very, very good table image I'm in the SB and get dealt 33 Villain limps in early position, someone else limps, I complete, BB checks, pot is $8. flop comes 7 3 9, two spades I lead $7. BB folds, villain raises to $14, limper folds, I reraise to 42. Villain calls. pot is 88 turn is an offsuit 8 I ask how much he has left and he doesn't look happy. He has about 290. What's my line? |

the turn was a blank--what is your question? How much to fire?

Your line is to bet pot or near to it. I have no idea why you asked how much he has left - it should be pretty obvious that he has a lot left, and such a question makes it obvious that you have a huge hand. With all the draws out, you've got to bet this one. Bet any blank river but beware of any river that pairs the board - it may give him a better hand.

[/ QUOTE ] In Casino Niagara and Fallsview, most people play with cash on the table. He had about 60 dollars in chips and about 230 in cash. This is pretty important information as I literally had no idea how much money he had. I considered going all in, but couldn't put him on a hand range I was comfortable with when he called my flop reraise. I also did not want him to see a river. |
