Default simple hand reading problem (100NL)

BB is 44/20/2.2 from ~100 datamined hands, he just sat down and I don't recall ever playing with him.

His hand seemed pretty obvious to me, but I'm yet another recent LHE-->NL convert, so I thought I'd check with the experts...

I would open-fold PF and as played fold to the re-raise PF. Definitely fold turn. Looks like 88/99 to me.

I'm not sure about the open-fold part though. I've been wondering about Ax suited from UTG/Hijack.

I fold. His range is pretty wide.

Wow, that was not at all what I was thinking.

Pre-flop felt almost automatic. You really think I should fold to that small re-raise from this guy (44/20/2.2)?

The flop check was surprising to me; the turn donk even more so. Together, they seemed to clearly say one of two things to me, neither of which is 88/99.

Maybe I needed to post this more than I realized...

Anyone else care to weigh in?

What were you thinking, lone Ace or King of hearts maybe?

Fold to the reraise preflop, I'd call if hes been doing this a lot. But in general your in bad shape when you he 3-bets (even so small)...

Fold turn, and I can see betting the flop but every time I do it I get c/r or called...

Also don't even think about moving him of his overpair on the turn...

Yes. I can't see him playing an overpair this way, and neither set (except maybe TT?) nor flush makes much sense either.

I'm surprised that people generally expect an overpair. Why would he check this flop w/ KK? And even if he did, why would he donk 1/2 pot when 3rd heart hits? Maybe a really poorly played AhAx, but even that seems like a stretch.

Is it just silly to hope to read hands so precisely?

This is such an odd line that he's taken, I wouldn't worry about it. Just fold and move on. You're caught in a big pot with A6 and you can't really justify calling $20 more.

The reason I said 88/99 is because these are two hands that re-raise PF, check/call flop make sense with. He still feels like he has the best hand, but he's not too sure, and he doesn't want to let you hit a free flush, so he's just half-potting it to see where he stands. He could have anything really though.
