Nut flushdraw OOP
Just started out NLHE cashgames. Switched from FL upto 5/10 to NL100 now.
Here is the hand I am concerned about: Poker Stars No Limit Holdem Ring game Blinds: $0.50/$1 8 players Converter Stack sizes: UTG: $112.85 UTG+1: $43.80 MP1: $99 MP2: $98 CO: $68.40 Button: $57.05 Hero: $88 BB: $59 Pre-flop: (8 players) Hero is SB with 6[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] A[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] UTG folds, UTG+1 calls, 2 folds, CO calls, Button folds, Hero calls, BB checks. Flop: K[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 6[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 9[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] ($4, 4 players) Hero bets $4, 2 folds, CO calls. Turn: 7[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] ($12, 2 players) Hero bets $9, CO calls. River: 2[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] ($30, 2 players) Hero bets $28, CO folds. Uncalled bets: $28 returned to Hero. Results: Final pot: $30 Should I even bet the draw? Are the betsized acceptable? Should I try to make a smaller bet on the river to make a call more likely? Generally, what things to consider when playing a FD OOP? |

Re: Nut flushdraw OOP
Anyone who would care to clarify things for me or give me link to a good thread or something?
Anything at all appreciated. |

Re: Nut flushdraw OOP
randal,
i think you played all streets great. another option you can take is to check/call the flop, as there are many players in and it's unlikely you'll take it down. |

Re: Nut flushdraw OOP
It depends really. I sometimes lead this flop, sometimes c/r, sometimes c/c, sometimes c/f. With one caller I like a turn bet and the river is fine though against some villains I would bet less or try a c/r depending on their river AF.

Re: Nut flushdraw OOP
Thanks guys.
If the river would have been a non-diamond, non 6, non ace card, would you bet the river too (except against a calling station) ? |

Re: Nut flushdraw OOP
I usually bet a little less on river, otherwise perfect.

Re: Nut flushdraw OOP
Would strategy change much if it were not for the pair with the FD?
