Re: $60 Stars: On Button facing one limper holding wired 6s.
[ QUOTE ]
[ QUOTE ] off-topic, but how come nobody plays the 32/3s on stars? i know ive played some 27s with you kevstreet, and obv you play the 60s too. but the 32/3s are NEVER filling. why? and i dont see anything other than calling being very good at all [/ QUOTE ] Hmmm very good question. I guess I never really thought about playing the $35s. There isn't much difference between the percentage of rake between $60s and $35s so I don't have an answer for you. Thanks for the suggestion, perhaps I'll start playing them Oh and thanks for the comment on the hand. [/ QUOTE ] 16s = 6.25% rake 27s = 7.4% rake 35s = 8.57% rake 60s = 8.33% rake I have been playing the 27s on stars for a little over a month now. I am planning to skip the 35s, and move to the 60s when my bankroll allows so. 8.57% is simply to high for me, but I am a huge nit...lol... PS - I wish they applied the 16's rake accross the board. My bankroll would appreciate it greatly. I can dream...cant I? |

Re: $60 Stars: On Button facing one limper holding wired 6s.
I guess limping and folding is both fine- it depends on how good you are at flopping sets (not very good it seems).
There may be some cases for raising also- if the other limper is weak and predictable, you may be able to get it HU with him in position and having the impetus, or even take it down preflop. But guess this rarely (if ever) is the best play... |
