I call pre-flop too but I think it's a leak.

I lead the flop.

I'm too much much of a pussy to bet the river and it's easy fold once you're raised.

Can anyone else give me there thoughts on this hand?

Please tell me how I could have worded the thread better to make it more appealing.

I don't get many responses to my hands....maybe because I am not wording right.

I thought it was an interesting decision.

Thanks.

I more or less agree with your decisions up to the river.

Preflop you're getting almost 6-1 to call, and you certainly don't have a raising hand or position, so I like the call.

On the flop you've hit two pair, so I might lead out here with a bet, something like 2/3 or 3/4 of the pot. I guess it depends on whether or not you think that MP1 is going to raise you. Check-calling is not so bad here, as MP2 folded, and now you're heads-up.

The turn is dangerous, if MP1 was betting a flopped flush draw, he just hit it. If not, this is a good card for you. Again, I might lead out with a bet here, as if he's put you on a flush draw, you might take the pot here. Also if he's playing AK or AQ you'll probably take the pot here, unless he holds the Ad (but if you bet and he calls it's easier to fold if he bets on a river diamond).

The river is the diamond. You've made a flush, but not a great one. Here I disagree with your lead out. If you were going to lead out at any point in this hand it should have been on the flop and/or the turn. On those two streets you quite possibly have the best hand, and betting lets you know how likely that is. Now you have the third best flush, and if MP1 holds the Ad or Kd, both likely holdings, you're beat.

So the river is where a check-call is in order, depending on the size of the bet.

That's what I think of the hand. I think you played it too weak on the flop and the turn, sort of leaving you in the dark as to what MP1 had. That's why the river decision was tough, because you didn't get yourself enough information.
