25/50 Unraised Pot Flop decision
Villian is TheBruiser. Now I have a feeling I'm going to get a few buyin full responses and i'm ok with that, but with my stack as is push the flop or wait til the turn to get it in? The problem is that i dont see a worse hand calling my flop push, but then what am i supposed to do on the turn? What about with full stacks?

is this a serious post? [/ QUOTE ] I think the fact that this is an unraised pot makes it a serious post and worthy of some analysis. I'm not sure that pushing is the way to go here. edit- didn't see your stack, not even a full buyin; just shove. |

Re: 25/50 Unraised Pot Flop decision
I agree that with my stack what i do is somewhat trivial, but one decision, getting it in on the flop vs the turn, is better than the other and i have a hard time seeing a better hand calling 3k more

I don't know. Are you willing to go broke here? If so, then call and c/r ai any turn; but don't be shocked if you see 22, 33 or two pair. If you don't want to go broke, there's an argument for calling and re-evaluating turn (if no diamond) or folding.

Re: 25/50 Unraised Pot Flop decision
If he has 22 33 then so be it, but I am looking to extract from hands that i could beat. In the hand i pushed, would it be better to call then c/r any turn instead?

Way to limp ATd flop top pair and nut flush draw and consider not getting it allin on the flop.

Re: 25/50 Unraised Pot Flop decision
what do you want to extract? this was a 6 way limped pot, unless villian is a complete idiot he has A4s, A3s, 43s, 33 or 44 like always. MAYBE a combo draw like 56dd.
so you probably have to hit a diamond or at least a ten to win, close one - with your stack i would shove, maybe you fold out some 2 pair hands or he calls with a worse (combo)flushdraw. with a full buyin its more difficult - as played calling is probably best, but i would have either bet more on the flop or check/called. |

Re: 25/50 Unraised Pot Flop decision
I much prefer calling then check raising any turn. I really don't see what you gain by pushing the flop. Maybe someone should explain this to me but I dont see any hands that you are beating that will fold, and I dont see any that you are beating that will call.
