Default Pocket sixes, how far should I go?

Only played a few orbits at this table. My HUD display hasn't kicked in yet and I've been reading the forums rather that paying attention, although I did lose my stack a couple hands earlier to a higher straight.

PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em, $0.50 BB (6 handed) Hand History Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: FlopTurnRiver)

SB ($24)
BB ($110.55)
UTG ($25.20)
MP ($50.65)
Hero ($39.25)
Button ($238.05)

Preflop: Hero is CO with 6, 6.
2 folds[/i]</font>, Hero calls $0.50, 1 fold[/i]</font>, SB raises to $2</font>, Hero calls $1.50.

Flop: ($4) T, 9, 9 3 players)</font>
SB bets $4</font>, Hero raises to $8</font>, SB calls $4.

Turn: ($20) 3 3 players)</font>
SB checks, Hero bets $10</font>, SB raises to $14</font>, Hero calls $4.

River: ($48) 5 3 players)</font>

Final Pot: $48

there's a lot of things wrong with this hand

1) wrong forum
2) you should never open limp from the CO
3) you should almost never minraise
