ASK the dealer if they made a mistake, don't tell them that they DID. There are a LOT of different scenarios with completely different outcomes so just ask and you'll probably learn something. Don't be the new-to-casino-but-I-somehow-know-it-all-anyways guy. [/ QUOTE ] Good point. b |

As a dealer I appeciate it when a player points out a mistake before it gets to the point of being uncorrectable. If you think the buton is in the wong place, politely ask the dealer if it is correct.
you are not being helpful if you think it is wrong but wait until the hand hlafway through before you say anything. If you think a player hasn't acted yet and the dealer is about to burn and turn, say "TIME" or "WAIT" or "STOP" even if you are wrong all this will do is delay the game a brief moment, but if you are right you will have saved a big hassle. And your not being helpful if your not polite about it. |

And I basically got the answer I should just shut up and play my cards, then he would take care of the rest. And so for being polite and asking, he got the I-am-God-dont-question-me-STFU routine instead of the thanks-but-here-is-why-it-is-right routine. |

If the dealer really told you to "shut up", you should complain to the floor. Of course you can ask for clarification.

Then if he said something snide, I might take a break and talk to the floor. b |

During a seesion this week at the Orleans one of the dealers had a difficult time reading the board. I made J's full on the river and the other guy flips up Q9 on a board of JJ8Q8 and declares "str8". He actualy had a flush but it took three players to point out my hand while the dealer moved cards in and out of the board to find the winning hand. This was my second ever live session and I really didn't say anything.
Next orbit I table AQ on a board of AT9J6. My opponent tables KT. Same dealer decides the T's are good, scoops the hole cards and the board into a pile and starts to slide the chips to the other guy. This is where I got vocal and several payers called the floor. Some extremely beautiful girl sitting next to the guy asks "you're not gonna keep that are you?". He says yes because my hand is dead and in the muck. Floor arrives, dealer digs out the cards, floor asks me if my cards were exposed, I say yes it was the end of the hand, floor says to give me the money. BTW, I can't exaggerate how hot this girl was. Maybe 21-22 and had game. Also, Jimmy the dealer is the nuts. Best one I saw over 3 sessions. He could really move the game along. |

Oh also, if you're not in a hand, don't say anything, especially stuff like "That's a string bet."
The dealer might grab a handful of chips out of the rack and throw them at you. |

Yeah I learned this. i've only played online where it goes four bets PF flop and turn. When I saw a flop go five bets I asked the guy next to me if I had indeed seen this. He said yeah but he got yelled at once for talking about a hand. So I took the hint. All in all I guess I enjoyed the experience.
