aba,

ATQJ is precisely the hand that bottom set beats that is likely to play that way, along with maybe a real big straight draw like QJ98 (which would most likely have pushed over that checkraise). But his range for calling the flop checkraise has to be wider in the way of one pair or weaker draw hands for Dags to like his spot on the turn.

And what about my question for how deep the effective stacks have to be to consider folding there? No upper bound?

just curious how you guys that play plo feel about dags preflop play with this hand? he is button it is heads up but is it ok to just let this one go when the guy repops you preflop? seems to be a hand to get in trouble with as evidenced in this hand. saying bottom set has reverse implied odds in plo heads up might be a bit of a stretch but it looks like that is what happened ?well anyways interesting hand.

David would play AT, ATQJ or a big straight draw like this. If you fold here against david you are going to get run over. HU PLO is an insanly aggressive and swingy game. 10 BI swings are nothing in HU plo.

He also plays most AAxx hands like this and there are a lot of those, plus you're further behind when you're behind than he is when he is. I think you have to open up DB's range a little more for this to be profitable.

Bluff,

I don't have any experience at anything like these stakes at PLO or any other game. But when a fish im my game loses an ungodly ammount with TPNK, I'll usually throw him an "unlucky bud"

I'm not saying that's what's happening here, but it does seem a lot to lose with bottom set.
