Default 45 man AK flop vs 2 cold caller

I Know Its Standard !
Your last to act, 2 cold caller PF and the flop and get a drawless board with ur K. I'm trying to double up now, at least get more chips; after playing I'm thinking should I have check since I'm last to act induce a bet from some one on the turn?

Unless one of the callers has a monster this will most likely get checked down unless you come in.I would if check around bet like 150 on the turn.Good luck in future games.

My guess is you are up against a middle pocket pair and possibly an AJ, so if you want to check the flop and hope somebody bluffs the turn that's fine, but there is nothing wrong with taking down a pot of that size on the flop. I'd say you played that pretty optimally, and if you were up against KQ you would have won a monster playing like that.

You increased your stack by close to 50% - a nice result. And people are suggesting not taking down the pot here?

I might have pushed the flop - simplifies things, and slight overbet might be read as a bluff... if someone reraises you all in, you're getting the chips in anyway, so this makes more sense to me. Esp if it's a low buyin...
