AA - question on turn play
UTG = LP bad player 32/2 after 256 hands
MP3 = 36/17 after 100 hands. He's been playing bad post-flop as well, but semi-agressive (less agressive than a 2+2, more agressive then your 32/2 type player) PokerStars 5/10 Hold'em (9 handed) Hand History Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: 2+2 Forums) Preflop: Hero is CO with A[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], A[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]. UTG calls, 3 folds, MP3 calls, Hero raises, 2 folds, BB calls, UTG calls, MP3 calls. Flop: (8.40 SB) 9[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], 6[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], 7[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (4 players) BB checks, UTG checks, MP3 checks, Hero bets, BB folds, UTG folds, MP3 calls. Turn: (5.20 BB) T[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (2 players) MP3 checks, Hero ? |

Re: AA - question on turn play
definitely bet. it would be horrible to give a free card here if you are ahead.
if you had 2 opponents here your decision would be a lot harder. |

Re: AA - question on turn play
I think this seems like a fairly straightfoward betting opportunity.
If you're scared of a C/R bluff (unlikely), I could see checking the turn if the board didn't have two flush draws (since giving a free card might not hurt you), but given the fact that all the cards are in the playing zone and he could spike two pair on the river, I would advocate bet/folding. I think if he goes for the turn C/R then you're toast and can throw it away. |
