Re: Poker Podcasts
I think "Rounders - The Poker Show" is a decent one. It is run by Mike Johnson and Adam Schwartz out of Vancouver for a sports radio station and they tend to have a number of famous players on for interviews.

Re: Poker Podcasts
The Card Club on Lord Admiral Radio. The guys who host the show themselves aren't exactly pros, but it's always interesting and thought-provoking stuff, I find. They're not on itunes, so you can go to their site or follow their instructions for subscribing. They also pimp a show regularly called Poker Diagram, but I've never listened to that one.

Re: Poker Podcasts
i listened to poker diagram. all it is is 2 guys talking about an online MTT giving direct play by play. who the hell wants to listen to that?
cardplayer.com has by far the best poker podcast; its called The Circuit. Mike the Mouth with a guest poker pro every episode. they have new shows every time a WPT event rolls around. http://www.cardplayer.com/audio/thecircuit.php |

Re: Poker Podcasts
the cardplayer shows are really good. the co-host is kind of a tool and his presence is pointless, but matusow takes over the show and is really good. in other words if you download an episode and hear about matusow being stuck in a game and not appearing, download a different one. also the audio is a little buggy since mike's volume fluctuates up and down like a maniac. so if you have thin walls maybe you want to wear headphones.
(edit: the co-host does occasionally ask a good question to guests) |

but I should still do better than typical news-anchors trying to ask big-time players, "So....what does it mean when you say 'see a flop'?" [/ QUOTE ] Make sure you cover whether you need a good poker face to play. Good luck! |

The Circuit is good, coming into it's own, but they seem to have gone quiet. Did they give up? Or are they on hiatus. Read the Chicago Poker Club's Best of 2005 entry on Poker Podcasts for a complete review. Yes, this is my own site that I am pimping. Enjoy! |
