Default Pulling a move with a flushdraw

Villain is super aggro TAG. 20./16/11 over only 44 hands, but he 3bet me earlier with A7s. I had JJ and he sucked out with trip 7's.

PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em, $0.50 BB (5 handed) Hand History Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: 2+2 Forums)

Button ($49.25)
SB ($43.20)
Hero ($51.25)
UTG ($133.45)
MP ($97.55)

Preflop: Hero is BB with T[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], 9[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img].
UTG raises to $2, 2 folds, SB calls $1.75, Hero calls $1.50.

Flop: ($6) 3[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], K[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], A[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (3 players)
SB checks, Hero checks, UTG bets $4.45, SB folds, Hero raises to $15, UTG raises to $131.45, Hero folds.

Final Pot: $152.45

I wouldn't try this move with the A and K in the flop against a player who have some solid stats (and who have raised UTG). You tried, didn't work, nice fold.

Don't like the raise on the flop personally, judging from his stats he knew he was ahead on the flop and would have re-raised you no matter what you had raised it to. I'd put him on AK or AQ, possibly KK.

IMO both his bets pushed you off the draw. A call of his flop bet makes the implied odds tempting, but the re-raise, while a brave move, did not seem like it would get this type of opponent (as you've described him) to fold top pair.

Perhaps, you were hoping to raise for a free card on the turn (not expecting the reraise then he would check the turn.)

Seems like you may have gotten a little too fancy against a villain who would not appreciate your actions.

Yeah, definitely fps on my part. So should I fold to the flop bet or just flat call?

Given that this whole play is dependant on FE, I think is incorrect based on your description. The reason we always say "play draws aggressively" is that the whole idea is to get villain to fold. My thoughts on this hand would be "I have a FD, but my FE is poor and I am OOP" therefore best option is to CC the flop. He is offering you sort of reasonable odds of 2.3:1, but your implied odds are massive.

I think that c/c > c/f >>>>>> c/r >>>>>>>>>>>>&g t; lead.

Call the flop. You are getting better than 2:1 and you won't have a problem to get another psb in if you hit, probably.

Actually woah hold on here. You are 2:1 to make your flush by the river. EFFECTIVE stacks are $50 on the flop (once hero calls the raise he has about $50 left) so pretend that villains final raise is to $50 which still puts hero AI. This means that the pot is:

$6 (initial pot)
+ $50 (villains all in raise)
+ $15 (heros inital raise)

= $71

After heroes $15 raise, he has 50-15 = $35 behind. So he needs to call his last $35 to win $71, the pot is offering him odds of 71:35 = 2.02:1.

His equity in the pot is 65:34, or 1.9:1 against...

Board: Ah Kh 3c
Dead:

equity win tie pots won pots tied
Hand 0: 34.040% 34.04% 00.00% 337 0.00 { Th9h }
Hand 1: 65.960% 65.96% 00.00% 653 0.00 { AcKd }

1.9:1 against versus the pot offering 2.02:1 for the call...

COULD THIS BE THE THINNEST VALUE CALL OF THE YEAR????

(let me know if I messed up somewhere)

It's even thinner, because you messed up the rounding. It's 66:34 against hero to make his flush (plus you need to factor in that he still might loose with a flush, but I think that cancels out the probability to make a runner runner straight).
