I think it's terrible. Almost as bad as open raising QJs UTG 10 handed.

[/ QUOTE ]
Sooooooooooo much worse IMO.

I think opening QJs UTG is profitable at some tables. I don't think this is profitable at any table.

QJs 10 handed or 6 max? I open raise it a fair (probably too often) amount at 6max.

Thanks for the replies. FTR, I posted this because this situation came up versus one of my friends (who's actually posted in this thread!) the other night at Foxwoods where I was the open raiser and he was the caller with 54 suited out of the SB. We later talked about the hand and obviously had a big disagreement about how it was played.

Raising QJs UTG 10 handed can be a fine play, but is table/player dependent. Doing it in MP, which is where it probably was done anyway, is better though.

So did he misclick or what? No one in this thread has said they would make this play.

lol at live stats read

54s is too low by a good bit IMO. I'd call 98s. Maybe 87s. Depends on BB too.

He kept clicking and nothing happened. I guess the dealer took it to mean call.

I raise QJ & QJs both UTG 6-max every time, unless the table is full of super lags. i sometimes raise it UTG at 9-max table live, and since i dont play full ring online, i don't raise it at all there.
