Thanks for the replies. FTR, I posted this because this situation came up versus one of my friends (who's actually posted in this thread!) the other night at Foxwoods where I was the open raiser and he was the caller with 54 suited out of the SB. We later talked about the hand and obviously had a big disagreement about how it was played.

54s is too low by a good bit IMO. I'd call 98s. Maybe 87s. Depends on BB too. |

[/ QUOTE ] I raise QJ & QJs both UTG 6-max every time, unless the table is full of super lags. i sometimes raise it UTG at 9-max table live, and since i dont play full ring online, i don't raise it at all there. |
